Over the past 8 years, RIFA has made structures and tents individually designed for exhibitions, events and homes. We practise traditional and modern marquee making techniques and have consulted on, designed and made yurts and tipis. Geodesic and abstract spans are a particular interest, we welcome similar projects with an emphasis on ecological and environmental low impact constructions.
We make yurts and tipis to order using locally sourced timber and canvas. With experience in modern textiles on large structures, our own designs suit the climate and use wherever required, without losing any of the charm of these practical nomadic dwellings. Living in a yurt and tipi, we have direct experience of the design and function of these lovely spaces. As technologies improve, so do our designs.
	We actively enjoy making them for others and can offer a fully personal service from consultation to installation. RIFA tents for outdoor events and festivals with an emphasis on outdoor living.
